DI Adult Workshop

Book a one-day creative problem solving workshop for adults.

Destination ImagiNation (DI), the world’s largest non-profit creative problem solving program, helps individuals and groups learn valuable higher level skills, including creativity, team work, critical thinking, budgeting, project management, research, script writing, and presenting. DI is academically sound, technology friendly and tons of fun. People in the program form teams of up to seven to solve one of five Challenges created by Destination ImagiNation and their 60,000+ volunteers.

This workshop honours creative and critical thinking, cooperation, collaboration, risk taking, problem solving, team work, and task commitment while integrating the arts, technology, communication skills and theatre. Learn how to use the creative problem solving process along with concepts, tools and strategies in your class, as a credit course, or as an extracurricular offering. This workshop is hands-on, applied learning full of guaranteed fun-filled activities that can be used in your workplace or classroom the very next day.

Each workshop is facilitated by Elizabeth Johnson and Faith Garriock. Elizabeth has been a team manager, school coordinator, writer for Destination ImagiNation. Faith is the Affiliate Director for Destination ImagiNation in BC. Together they do DI workshops for adults and students across the province.
