DI Student Workshop

Book a free one-day creative problem solving workshop for your students.

Thomas L. Friedman in his #1 selling book The World Is Flat concludes by stating, "the most important attribute you can have is creative imagination" for success in the 21st century economy. If this is so important it begs the question, where do our kids develop and hone these skills?

Destination ImagiNation (DI), the world’s largest non-profit creative problem solving program for youth K-12, helps kids learn these valuable higher level skills, including creativity, team work, critical thinking, budgeting, project management, research, script writing, presenting, and all the while developing increased self confidence. DI is academically sound, technology friendly and tons of fun. Young people in the program form teams of up to seven kids to solve one of five Challenges created by Destination ImagiNation and their 60,000+ volunteers.

DI British Columbia offers no-cost, hands-on workshops at your school for you and your students to learn more about the Destination ImagiNation program. Students will experience an Instant Challenge, where kids learn how to think on their feet. Using various kinds of improvised materials (including straws, labels, tooth picks, paper clips, pencils and more), groups ranging in size from 30-60 kids complete an exciting task. This is your perfect opportunity to test their creative juices, and see what DI is all about.
